Message from the Chairman

Miguel Campoy Suárez. Chairman of the Fundación Puerto de Alicante.

I hope that, as of now, this space will provide an appropriate technological tool to promote and inform in real time about all the operations and projects linked to our Foundation. During this stage, using the advantages afforded by the correct application of new technologies, we will try to make available not only this tool, but also other innovative instruments that improve our logistical management, ensuring better promotion of the projects and activities undertaken by our Port, progressive growth in understanding and the opening up of new channels of communication between the different social, economic and cultural agents of the province that will foster the full integration of Alicante’s Port into its city and, thanks to the facilities offered by new technologies today, our Port, everyone’s Port, can bring down barriers.

Furthermore, and given the Port’s clear vocation and commitment to the Information Society, we will keep you regularly informed about the existence and launch of other transversal projects that allow the Port to open new doors to growth and evolution through Innovation, with a view to achieving, in harmony with the interests of citizens, competitiveness in markets, economic growth and the development of social and cultural welfare as regards the Port, and to act as a truly dynamic and linking force for the city of Alicante, our province and the Region of Valencia.
