Message from the Director

The Port of Alicante has been, is and will always be a Port capable of moving with the times in which it ‘lives’. And so, today, immersed in the 21st Century and in the Knowledge Society, we are aware of the importance and facilities New Technologies offer, bringing us closer to people. There are no barriers, and so, from the Fundación Puerto Alicante of which I have the honour of managing, I would like to extend my warmest greetings to all those who, through our webpage, are interested in finding out more about our work.
Our biggest challenge is to achieve the full integration of the Port of Alicante, everyone’s port, into society, through culture, the dissemination of our historic and commercial heritage, as a dynamic agent and creator of wealth for each and every one of the peoples that make up our province. A province always open to the world, cosmopolitan and modern. Now, on this webpage, you will have the opportunity to discover our province and get to know us. I would like to invite you to share our hopes, our projects and our challenges.
