To undertake promotional actions and studies aimed at improving the competitiveness of the Port and related industries, developing these activities within its area of influence.

To undertake promotional actions and studies aimed at enhancing and improving the Port of Alicante, fostering close collaboration among all the sectors linked to port operations and related services.

The Foundation also works towards a series of specific goals derived from its own Articles of Association and other situations as required.

General

• Promotion and economic, social and cultural development of the Port of Alicante and its surroundings.
• Development and implementation of actions to promote, study and boost the competitiveness of the Port of Alicante and related industries.
• Strengthen the activity of the Alicante Port Authority, supporting relations between the entities and parties involved in port activity, fostering the economic and social projection of the Port of Alicante, through the advantages of collaborating with the port’s value chain.
• Promotion of the port facilities, increasing commercial activity in the port, by means of collaboration with sectors linked to port operations and auxiliary and related services.
• Creation of a quality seal for the activities of the Port of Alicante, providing personal care and service for users, promoting the port and its integration into the city.
• Carry out international commercial missions and national promotional activities.

PURPOSE

The main purpose of the Fundación Puerto Alicante is to promote and foster the economic, social and cultural development of the Port of Alicante and its surroundings, placing particular importance on the development and implementation of actions that promote, study and boost competitiveness in the Port of Alicante and related industries.
